I Saw My Teacher At The Grocery Store

Listener question: There's a person I know that I think is having serious relationship issues with their pregnant wife. The only reason I'm aware of these issues is because I follow them both on Twitter. Part of me wishes I never found out, and selfishly I wish this person would just address the situation so I could gain some relief, but neither of those is going to happen. What do I do for myself to accept that even knowing what's going on, I can't change it and need to move on?

Listener letter: I'm a very introverted guy. I'm at a point in my life where I've wanted to look for a girlfriend for a while now. I've never been comfortable meeting new people - if I do end up with a new group it usually takes meeting a few times for me to really feel comfortable, and that's after a lot of anxiety over going out in the first place. I've considered online dating, but thinking about that is just as
stressful as just showing up somewhere IRL. What’s a guy to do?

Listener letter: Is having/planning to have a child early (3 months) into a relationship a way of setting ourselves up for a disaster? Should we enjoy each other first? Maybe It's A Donut

Listener letter: I wrote in to the show in late 2013, and my story was read on episode #80: Dedicatedly Nerdy. My husband and I divorced in 2015 and not having him here with me now is more painful than anything I’ve endured in the past... I’d live it all again if I could get one more chance with him in the end.

Be The Best Part of Somebody's Day

Now that I’m in my late 30s, I’ve never felt so alone and out of touch.
